Ghaleena

Looking for an outlet to be something more than a stay-at-home Mom, "retired" environmental scientist, and homemaker, Ghaleena took a belly dancing class early in 2006. She was immediately drawn to the dance, the culture, the costumes, the workout, and especially, the people. Ghaleena has received most of her formal instruction from Memie-Ayat and Jessi, and feels joyful and empowered when dancing for the general public or hosting Belly Dance parties for women or young girls. Her Troupe is now her tribe, and they are some of her dearest friends. Ghaleena can not imagine her life without them or without belly dancing. She has found a home with her Sisters In Dance!
